The Enter/Review Case Notes window (seen below, part of the Case Notes module) is the most flexible of any window in Gatekeeper.  There are a variety of user-defined options available that affect how the window behaves under a variety of circumstances.

Automatically checks for overlapping notes.

Spell check, with the ability to create a custom word list.

A “Group Notes” function makes entering and billing ratio-based case notes fast and easy.

Confidential notes can been automatically “hidden” based on security permissions.

Once billing has been generated for a note, it cannot be changed.
