Service Authorization Module

The Service Authorization module was one of the first modules developed in Gatekeeper. It is currently used to generate PAS forms for almost 80 counties in Ohio. The PAS window (shown below) allows you to authorize services from ANY defined funding source, providing the ideal mechanism with which to implement individual budgets.

Key Features:

  • Produces PAS forms and/or XML files for submission to ODMRDD.
  • Allows services from a variety of funding sources to be authorized in a single place. These could include Waivers, Supported Living, CAFS, etc. Revisions to authorized services cannot authorize less than has already been paid to providers.
  • Prevents authorized service levels from exceeding the individual’s allocation.
  • Authorization information can be accessed by providers via www.ohiodd.com.
